The Darkest Night - A Winter Solstice Ceremony

22dec7:00 pm11:00 pmThe Darkest Night - A Winter Solstice Ceremonythrough conscious dance and community circle

Event Details

Winter Solstice has long marked a time of rebirth. It is the point at which the path of the sun is farthest south. At the Winter Solstice, the sun travels the shortest path through the sky resulting in the day of the year with the least sunlight and therefore, the longest night, the darkest night.

An opportunity to deepen our journey as the earth becomes still. We will dance and pray, we will contemplate the year past and the year that is being dreamt into being.

Our dance becomes a prayer and a planting of seeds for new growth in the coming months.
