Either way it is going to happen.

Society will tell us to dread it, because it means we are getting old and therefore hold no value!

But what if our most potent value arrives post menopause?

We might be advised to take drugs to release us from the symptoms.

Yet those symptoms may well be a big part of the key to knowledge and the wisdom that we would do well to give our attention to.

As well as different perspectives, we need each other for shared experiences and wisdom. Those who have walked the path, and found the ways of the old to be more beneficial than our modern day thinking and suppressants.

Join me for a deep enquiry, some gentle dance and movement, drum journeys, and creative writing, enhancing our changes and welcoming this potent time of our lives.

A women’s gathering, for those entering or within the second half of life, preparing for or post menopause. It’s never too late to learn from this rite of passage experience.

Caroline is 13 years post menopause and has gathered knowledge from the experience with an understanding rich in ritual and rite of passage wisdom.

She has been holding workshops, including women’s empowerment gatherings for three decades.

On the 4th Sunday of each month, we have a community gathering. All members are welcome. We focus on topics like Mandorla, The Wheel Of Souls Return and Conscious Dance. There is sometimes a drum journey and meditation.

In these writing groups, we will give time and attention to the prose that wants to be written from the heart. Wether you are published writer or just beginning to consider your writing path, even wanting to write as a personal enquiry for yourself, or the story you are dreaming about, or the poetry awaiting acknowledgement, there will be something here for you.

I have been holding creative writing groups for eight years, and have always included writing during my 30 years facilitating workshops. One particular online group began at the beginning of the lockdown in 2020 and empowered participants to expand their creativity, share their hearts and voices and have the courage to embody their ability to write. My focus now is on the second half of life and the empowerment of elder-hood.

Weekly writing group held online on Tuesdays 10am – 11.30am GMT for six months. October to April. There will be opportunity to write in quiet moments, share with others within the group and in breakout rooms. Held and led by Caroline with a variety of exercises to evoke the writer from deep within, to inspire heart felt writing and intentions.

Caroline is a profoundly inspiring facilitator and teacher and workshop leader. I was longing for a group that felt that it would really help me to write and to open up and I was guided to find Caroline and I am deeply grateful. Since working with her I am starting to write and to grow in confidence. I can’t recommend her enough.

During this workshop you will have the opportunity to explore some of the conflicts in your life, looking at how they play out and how they affect you. With the support of the group and a constellation process held and guided by Caroline with the drum beat, you will enter the magical space of the Mandorla, allowing it to work its powerful medicine, bringing the riches of wisdom, new insights and empowering embodiment into your life.

As human beings, we can exist on multiple planes of being; the one that we are usually most aware of, however, is the material world. By its nature, the material world is a place of duality – a place of opposites that we often experience as being in conflict with one another. Examples include light and dark, masculine and feminine, loyalty and betrayal, the seen and the unseen, to name but a few. The polarity between these opposites creates a fundamental tension at an evolutionary level that has the potential to be either profoundly destructive or powerfully generative and creative. The evidence of the destructive consequences of this tension lies all around us in the terrible scourges of war, inequality and conflict within and between individuals, groups and societies.
