In these writing groups, we will give time and attention to the prose that wants to be written from the heart. Wether you are published writer or just beginning to consider your writing path, even wanting to write as a personal enquiry for yourself, or the story you are dreaming about, or the poetry awaiting acknowledgement, there will be something here for you.

I have been holding creative writing groups for eight years, and have always included writing during my 30 years facilitating workshops. One particular online group began at the beginning of the lockdown in 2020 and empowered participants to expand their creativity, share their hearts and voices and have the courage to embody their ability to write. My focus now is on the second half of life and the empowerment of elder-hood.

Weekly writing group held online on Tuesdays 10am – 11.30am GMT for six months. October to April. There will be opportunity to write in quiet moments, share with others within the group and in breakout rooms. Held and led by Caroline with a variety of exercises to evoke the writer from deep within, to inspire heart felt writing and intentions.

Caroline is a profoundly inspiring facilitator and teacher and workshop leader. I was longing for a group that felt that it would really help me to write and to open up and I was guided to find Caroline and I am deeply grateful. A Maiden To Matriarch exploration.

Do you find yourself alone, wondering how to implement your mission and bring your craft, writing, message more fully into the world? When we speak and dance our grief and shame, accept ourselves and our story, paving the way for our soul’s calling, we support the future generations. The daughters and granddaughters who follow in our footsteps will benefit. Whether we are mothers or not, we have a responsibility to be the storyteller needed for the future. To own our legacy by embracing our soul’s contract.

We can help to empower each other when we come together, with time to do our inner work, to recognise what holds us back. To take time out for writing, dancing and being inspired by natural surroundings. Listening to the drum beat, we find the gentle dance that opens our heart, moves our tears and stretches our muscles just enough to feel the growth of our psyche’s presence. And then we know why we are here, and we take action to follow its path…

We will come together as sisters and friends, to bring attention to what is most important in our lives now.

Leaving this retreat with deeper knowledge of who we are, new perspectives on our life story and a tool bag of resources to take home, and help us make the necessary changes for our future.

Menopause: the key to matriarchal wisdom

Are you entering the second half of life, marked by the physical changes that menopause creates?

Are you wondering what it will mean for you, or have you wondered if you received what you needed from it?

We are going to meet with the ‘great-change’ at some point in our years. We may fear it, welcome it or ignore it.

Either way it is going to happen.

Society will tell us to dread it, because it means we are getting old and therefore hold no value!

But what if our most potent value arrives post menopause?

We might be advised to take drugs to release us from the symptoms.

Yet those symptoms may well be a big part of the key to knowledge and the wisdom that we would do well to give our attention to.

As well as different perspectives, we need each other for shared experiences and wisdom. Those who have walked the path, and found the ways of the old to be more beneficial than our modern day thinking and suppressants.

Join me for a deep enquiry, some gentle dance and movement, drum journeys, and creative writing, enhancing our changes and welcoming this potent time of our lives.

A women’s gathering, for those entering or within the second half of life, preparing for or post menopause. It’s never too late to learn from this rite of passage experience.

Caroline is 13 years post menopause and has gathered knowledge from the experience with an understanding rich in ritual and rite of passage wisdom.

3 x 30 min individual coaching sessions throughout the year.

Once booked you will be sent a list of art materials to have with you. The 3 hour workshops will have intermittent breaks from the screen for creative process.

• If you are a woman applying for this course you need to be committed to the process and have an understanding of the necessity for this, for yourself as well as for the group.
• If using payment plan, payments must be on time and completed for the term. If you regrettably miss a session for reasons beyond your control, payment will still be required and the assignments completed.
• A level of knowledge on your own process with previous therapeutic work is necessary. This work is in-depth and demands time, willingness to do the creative assignments and the ability to speak honestly about your process will be required.
• It will include some shadow work. 
• All assignments must be completed, documented and witnessed in order to receive certification to offer this work in the future. We reserve the right to refuse certification to anyone who does not complete the process, including attendance, assignments and including themselves in the program.
• If you do not feel comfortable entering into this field of in depth work, or have any concerns about your ability to commit, please do NOT apply for this course. We have other opportunities available that may be more suitable for your growth at this time.
