These insights led me on a profound journey into the exploration of polarities, the intricate dance of opposites, and the understanding that these external conflicts are mirrors of our own internal landscapes. I continued to write.
Then, I encountered my husband Ben’s powerful film, ‘Boarding on Insanity.’ Witnessing his exploration of the boarding school experiences of so many world leaders was a revelation. The film exposes the profound deprivation of parental love, the lack of stability, and the often brutal environments that shaped these individuals. It highlights how these early experiences, these wounds, contribute to the conflicts we see on a global scale. ‘Boarding on Insanity’ premiered in London and is now available online, a vital piece of work that demands our attention. As I pondered the question, “What is mine to do?” I recognised the recurring theme of polarity, the essential engagement with the power of opposites, and the need to address conflict, both within ourselves and in the world around us. This understanding has been a constant thread throughout my life, from my childhood to my parenting, and in the 30 years I’ve dedicated to my work. I’ve written, taught, and counselled, guiding countless individuals towards that peaceful centre found through the embrace of polarities.
Now, I’m bringing this work together with my dear friend and colleague, Steve Niner. We’ll be gathering in the heart of Wales this May, inviting others to join us in a deeper exploration of this vital question: “What is ours to do?” This inquiry is essential for every human being at this critical time. We are living in a world that is crying out for resolution, for understanding, and for healing. Together, we will delve into the profound depths of our own inner landscapes, seeking the answers that will contribute to a more harmonious world. You are warmly invited to join us on this transformative journey. (Link below)
