This ‘dance’ is considered Medicine in many cultures, in our own culture we have forgotten the art of the ecstatic. In this context ecstatic means whole or holistic. It means to dance with everything, with all we feel and with all that we have the ability to move with. It brings us closer into the moment which enables us to live more fully in the present. The benefits are enormous, yet the art is incredibly simple. It can also be fun!
Ecstatic dance can be viewed as an out-of-body experience, but this is simply spiritual-by-passing and not rooted in anything fundamental or grounded in its true nature.
Being held in a safe space while experiencing the oracle of trance, with someone who has followed this path on their own journey, is deeply profound and liberating.
Caroline has been exploring this movement and dance experience for most of her life. She has danced with the Namibian bushmen, also called the dancing doctors, she has danced with the Kogi from South America, she has danced with shamanic practitioners from around the world who have deepened her understanding of this method and it’s many benefits, each with its particular dance and ideology. It has brought her great peace of mind with an ability to live in the present and to overcome many challenges and problems. She has been offering this way of movement for over two decades. She now offers to you a series of workshops and classes that will help you to find this particular fulfillment of your self and your life.
Anyone is welcome to join these groups and gatherings, there is no need for any experience, this is an incredibly simple and life affirming exercise with guidelines and simple techniques for you to learn. This is something that you can take away with you and practice within your own home, and work with on a daily basis to help with all of the above.
Caroline works with particular music and sound, as well as the drum beat and sometimes silence. She offers a safe place to explore this dance, with particular techniques that can support you to fully grow and develop your experience, so that it can bring you its full benefit.
