Caroline will guide you through the medium of ecstatic dance, shamanic journeys, meditations and enquiry, weaving the information gathered into the creation of your own Oracle. Once the wisdom becomes apparent and with time in nature to journey deeper by yourself, connecting with your own guides, you will begin to find the song that wishes to be sung through you and will weave that and all of the information into your own medicine bag.
A medicine bag is an item that spiritually represents the person who wears it and is carried for guidance, healing and protection. It contains objects that represent spiritual and healing experiences throughout our lives. This is a place to give totems a home close to your heart.
Making our own medicine bag is a process of illumination, to craft our own medicine container or oracle and understand the potency of what it is and what it carries. Creating this Oracle also gives us the opportunity to weave into it the spirit songs, sung from our heart but not in the ordinary way of singing. Our shifted state of consciousness in the ‘singing sense’ allow the songs to sing us. There is no need in this work to be able to sing in the normal ways. Traditionally, it is important to create the medicine bag yourself, finding its reflection and its song inside you and in the face you show to the world.

This ‘medicine’ is rooted in the drumbeat. It is about the softening of hearts, with the deepening of our connection to nature. It is soul retrieval at its simplest. It is work to heal, to move on, to empower ourselves, to live as fully as we are meant to, with nature as our ally and friend. To be that friend to the earth, to nature and the spirit world, by offering what is really needed without taking what is not ours.
Learning to accept the mantle of the hollow bone is the primary teaching of this work. You will learn how to shift your consciousness by moving out of the ego and rational mind for periods of time in order to become an empty vessel through which spirit can work. You will discover how to work with the divine power of the universe in a grounded and down-to-earth way to create healing for yourself and others. A prerequisite for future training’s in Middle Earth Medicine. Once integrated, you can use this state to assist you on journeys, creative tasks and vision quests. Furthermore, the capacity to become a hollow bone yourself, will support you to marry your deepest soul purpose to your ego (the hands of your soul), which then acts in the world. This will radically empower you, enabling you to live from a place of true integrity and authenticity so that you can embody your passions and do the work you were brought here to do.
The combination of the Ancient Shamanic Practice, Ritual Theater, Movement Medicine,Arts and crafts, connection with Nature, Vision Quest, Storytelling, Healing, Caroline’s life experience and other adventurous, magical ingredients makes this work a unique Medicine for healing, creation, finding/adding soul in all I am and do, in my role as a mother, partner, in my work as an artist. My two journeys with Hollow Bone Medicine have been both very healing and empowering. I could really dive in my medicine and gather my tools, my allies, receive guidance and meet and transform the inner obstacles and resistances that kept me from opening my wings. The venue deep in nature, the dance, the arts and crafts and creative moments and the journeying were an delicious blend to explore my deep nature and connection to soul. My presence in the Hollow Bone workshop was a subtle, gentle, very deep dive into my inner universe, where I met my guides, my inner characters, richness of my own medicine, my very unique and personal connections with Nature and Spirit.
